Overview
51 East Garfield Avenue
Queen Anne Style House
Built in 1892, the house still has most original decorative and structural features intact, making it perhaps the least changed century-old structure in town. The posts were replaced on the wrap-around one story porch. The porch has sawnwork ornaments under the eaves and geometric design balustrades, but the rest of teh exterior is undecorated siding, rectangle windows and gables. The house form is a "T" with a tow story front bay, as built by William Kipp.
