Decatur is Growing Gardners (DIGG) is a non profit organization dedicated to teaching gardening techniques to the disadvantaged population. DIGG practices sustainable urban gardening techniques. Charley Garden is one of the DIGG gardens. This garden is used to grow not only Asian vegetables including Bottle Gourd, Bitter Melons, Brinjals(egg plant), Chille peppers, Amaranthus, Gongura, Beans but also Tomatoes, Cabbage, Bell Peppers, Onions, Okra, Wax Beans, Edamame.
