Overview
Stick Style
Built in the 1890s, the house is a notable, rather late example of the Stick Style. Exterior walls are clapboard and shingle, with a variety of skeletal and textual ornaments. Skeletal ornament appears in the gable peak and on the porch. Pattern shingles form a band between the second and third floors and sheath the turret on the north side. The porch as an elaborate swn balustrade and turned posts. The structure is 2 1/2 stories with an irregular plan. The roof has intersecting gables and a bell-shaped conical tower. It has been recently rehabilitated and is in an excellent state of preservation.
