Overview
Virginia Historical Society – Currently under construction, this Richmond landmark is undergoing a transformation that includes removing the parking lot that has dominated the front of the building for years in favor of a gracious lawn and large planting beds featuring Virginia native plants. Asphalt will be replaced with shrubs and lawn irrigated by a system that can modify run times based on weather conditions, eliminating the waste of water after a rainfall.
