UMSL's Department of Biology operates a greenhouse located in the Anheuser Busch Ecology and Conservation Complex which is located in Benton Hall Building on the school's north campus. One of the most exciting plants grown in the greenhouse is the Corpse Flower. It is an endangered species and rarely grown in the United Stated. The Corpse flower is usually grown in the botanic gardens and can reach over 10 ft in height. The greenhouse on UMSL' campus is ocassionally open to the public.
