Approachable via Centennial Avenue or Wildwood Avenue, Five Mile Recreation Area "offers visitors picnic tables, barbecues and plenty of open space, making it a popular spot for large group gatherings." Big Chico Creek runs through the park, with restrooms on the south side. Parking is gated, so be sure you don't get locked in at night!
