Overview
Previously known as "Frosty Pines, a " cut-your-own" Christmas tree farm, Tall Trees Community Farm remains under the same ownership. Since 2008 part of the farm is being transitioned into organic and heirloom varieties of food, using biointensive and permaculture approaches. We sell at local farm markets and will be offering a CSA in the future. Salads and leafy greens/raw veggies, and herbs are our forte', though we have a variety of other crops. Transitioning to Organic.
Holiday wreaths and swags made from mixed fresh-cut greens. Partner with community and school groups to customize wreaths for FUNDRAISERS; can plan "work parties" with the groups (including hayrides, bonfires, refreshments) or will produce the wreaths for the group. We also offer firewood, a selection of conifers and deciduous trees and compost for landscaping, as well
Watch our calendar (or contact us to be on our list) for events and other opportunities for folks to visit the farm with their family and enjoy a number of activities while shopping for great local produce. The farm has long operated on principles of sustainability.
