Overview
Wartburg Theological Seminary, founded in 1854, is a seminary of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. With about 170 students studying for Masters degrees, Wartburg has long been commited to sustainability with a recycling program in place since 1991 and geothermal heating and cooling since 2000. Wartburg includes sustainability in a number of courses and its day-to-day community life.
