Madwala is a new 102ha reserve in development. Of interest are the dam and wetlands, as well as mammals and good birdlife.

Driving Directions: Take the M13 west from Durban to Hillcrest. Take the Old Main Road/Hillcrest off-ramp and turn right into Old Main Road. Travel along this road for approximately 6.8km through Hillcrest and up Botha's Hill. Turn left into Clement Stott Road and proceed to Chantecler Hotel. The reserve is accessed from the hotel.
