The Ukrainian Museum

The Ukrainian Museum has been an integral component of New York City,s cultural landscape since 1976-the year it opened its doors to the public as showcase for Ukrainian culture and history, with a mission to preserve the heritage of Ukrainian immigrants who began settling in the united states and Canada at the turn of the 20th century. The Museum was founded by the Ukrainian National Women's League of America, the largest Ukrainian women's organization in the united states.
