The LCRC is a community collaborator and facilitator of community projects that promote sustainability and self-sufficiency. Through their 23 Community Gardens located throughout the city, assistance to groups establishing Collective Kitchens, Community Food Advisor's program and Healthy Tidbits volunteers providing food demonstrations, they provide options and opportunities to learn how to grow, prepare, preserve and enjoy locally grown, fresh healthy fruits and vegetables.
