Rodgaustraße / Rangierbahnhof Kranichstein
Nordwestlich des Rangierbahnhofes Kranichstein und ca. 150 m südlich der Rodgaustr. liegendes Areal (Gewannbezeichnung „Auf der Platte“), gegliedert in eine verwilderte Streuobstwiesenregion, eine Teichzone sowie eine Ruderalfläche. Der Teich hat mehrere Schilfzonen und ist von den typischen Gehölzen einer Weichholzaue (Schwarzerle, Weide, Zitterpappel) umgeben. Schutzgrund: Erhaltung als Amphibien- und Reptilienschutzgebiet.
