中西合璧-黃伯華古厝

這座中西合璧的古典高雅老建物，據說正身的七間是100年前興建的，左右各五間的護龍是85年前興建的。當年聘請的匠師，是埔里的泥水建築團隊，和鹿港的木工匠師團隊，花了兩年的時間，才完成了美輪美奐的建物。
仔細觀察規矩門、圓竹窗、檜木門窗的雕花工夫；左右護龍古希臘巴洛克建物的雕花與稜線，加上中國古典文學家的對聯典故，如「元亮酒香摩詰畫」、「少陵詩草右軍書」，便是期待著後代子孫多品嚐陶潛（元亮）、王維（摩詰）、杜甫（少陵）、王羲之（右軍）等人的詩詞書畫好作品，「中西合璧」的建築風格，值得到此一遊，好好揣摩。
