Lincoln High School has a heat pump system for heating and cooling.
Lincoln High School was founded in 1871 and is the oldest of the six public comprehensive high schools in the city. The building was opened in 1915 with major additions completed in 1927, 1957, 1985 and 1996, and a current building project will be completed in the spring of 2010. In over 135 years of community service, more than 40,000 students have graduated from LHS. The school colors are red and black and the mascot is the “Links”.
