Visão geral
NYC Outward Bound runs ten Expeditionary Learning public schools in partnership with the NYC Department of Education. They bring demanding academics, community and character to under-served youth through new school creation, whole school reform & fee-for-service programs.
The climbing wall was built in 2007 for high school and middle school students from across the five boroughs that partake in NYC Outward Bound’s Expeditionary Learning curriculum, the wall first opened to the public in 2009 in an effort to boost extra revenue for the non-profit’s programs.
Wednesdays, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.; Saturdays (April 3, May 1, June 5), 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., weather permitting
