At Florida Native Plants Nursery & Landscaping we stock over a hundred varieties of native and Florida-friendly plants. We have edibles, fruit trees and eco-products. But we’re not just about selling. Visiting the nursery is a learning experience. Benefit from our thirty years of experience. Be inspired by our demonstration gardens including; containerized gardens, raised compost beds, composting with worms and rabbits, solar dehydration, water recycling, butterfly gardens, local and native bird gardens, landscape buffers, and swale and holding ponds. Viewing our demonstration gardens you’ll see the plants for each type of garden and what goes with what. Let us help you make a plan and choose those plants that will thrive with minimal care and add life to your landscape. You will have the joy of creating an aesthetically pleasing, life affirming, environmentally sensitive place to live.
Florida Native Plants Nursery & Landscaping became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2012. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
