• Special pet treats are made in Monroe, WA bakery
• Raw foods are from Portland
• Makes purchases from local vendors, i.e. Local Seattle toy company, some food products sourced from Olympia
• Option of purchasing organic pet food
Values:
• They don’t carry name brand foods, have tight contracts with local vendors. They also tour the plants where their products are made. If there is an ingredient change within a product, vendors must make a notification.
• Did not purchase raw food from a popular brand because company would not disclose sources
Green Store:
• Recycles all they can
• Sell biodegradable doggy waste bags
• Staff are taught to be eco-conscious, i.e. know that litter should not be flushed down toilet
