夏牌麻油 Sia Sesame Oil Shop
概览
位於中州寮「保安宮」廟後巷內的60年麻油店,現已81歲的林添福阿公,人稱「夏仔」的添福阿公與麻油結緣,係於22歲時幫人製作麻油而學會了技藝,此後,麻油也成了添福阿公的終身職業,至今歷經一甲子的歷史老店,目前由林家第二代接手。
因為麻油製作過程艱辛,須長時間處於高溫的環境,加上製作技法繁複及超長時間的挑戰,常是每日清晨五時忙至晚間七、八時才得以休息,所以相對的,他們所生產的麻油品質也就較他人優秀。民國98年為了擴大營業,新工廠已移到北安路與長和路口往西約50公尺處。
The shop is about sixty years old. It is located behind the Bao An temple. The sesame oil shop was founded by the now 81 years old grandfather, Mr. Tian Fu Lin. Locals call him “Sia”, hence the name of the shop. Today it is managed by the second generation family.
The hand making of the sesame oil is a long and complicated process. The workers have to endure high temperature environment and long hours. Usually, they begin working at five o’clock in the morning and kept working until eight o’clock at night. As a result, their sesame oil have much better quality than the other factory manufactured sesame oil.
To expand business, the new factory has transferred to the intersection of Bei-An Road and Chang-Ho Road toward the west approximately 50 meters place in 2009.
