Paradise Valley is a 100ha nature reserve through which the Umbilo River runs. In addition to the dense riverine and coastal scarp forest, there is also a spectacular waterfall.

Driving Directions: Take the M13 west from Durban to Pinetown. Take the Stapleton Road/New Germany turn-off and keep left into Eden Road. Follow Eden Road past the Blood Bank, turn right into
Oxford Road. The reserve is located at the end of the road.
Travel time (from central Durban): 30 minutes
