Opened in 1964, by the father of the present owner, this restaurant was the first in Paraty. It was opened to provide service to tourists and locals alike. The restaurant specializes in local cuisine, offering unique dishes, like "pesche e banana", fish and bananas.

Sustainable Features
The owner lives locally and hires local people. All the food that is served in the restaurant is bought in Paraty. They only use rewashable cups and dishes, no paper, plastic cutlery or plates. Recyclables are sent elsewhere to be sorted.
