Namack is an independent financial consulting firm that offers tactical asset analysis and management services and strategic financial planning. The company scans documents and e-mails them to reduce printing and mail costs. It also uses reusable plates, cups and flatware instead of disposable items and purchases recycled content legal pads and copy paper. These measures, along with the energy and water conservation measures they implemented, demonstrate the company's commitment to doing everything it can to reduce its environmental impact.
Namack became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2009. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
