Overview
Auchincloss House
Queen Anne Style
Built in the 1890's as the waterfront summer residence of William S. Auchincloss, and was then similar to the house at no. 48. The original silhouette of the 2 1/2 story house is largely intact, including its roof lines. However, much has been changed and modernized, including complete enclosure of the two-story wraparound porches on the bay side, and a one-story modern style addition of tan brick on the Boulevard side.
