Empisini is a 120ha nature reserve situated on the south coast offering good birding and butterflies, range of coastal and riverine forest trees, and clear stream with cascade feature.

Driving Directions: Take the N2 south from Durban to Port Shepstone.
Take the Umkomaas off-ramp, turning left into Maclean Street. Turn left into the M88 towards Saiccor. Turn left into the reserve approximately 1km down the road.
