Overview
This public park holds many events and gatherings which include:
Farmers Market from March through October open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
First Friday Night concerts start in May and end in September. For 2010 the dates will be May 7th, June 4th, July 2nd, August 6th, and September 3rd.
Dahlonega birthday celebration is celebrated September 19th and 20th. This past year we celebrated Dahlonega's 175th.
4th of July celebrations consist of a pet show, community service corner, and watermelon cutting in Hancock Park.
May 17th and 18th there is a Mountain Flower Art Festival in which there is a garden expo.
Bear on the Square is April 18th - 20th.
Gold Rush is October 17th and 18th.
In December you can find Christmas music being sung and played.
