Overview
Uses reclaimed wood for countertops, tables, chairs from a barn in upstate New York.
The menu incorporates local and organically grown vegetables as well as local, hormone free and antibiotic free chicken. It also sources all of it's corn tortillas and burritos from a local shop in Queens, New York.
They also use utensils and packaging that can be composted and they composts all food scraps.
Founded in 2009 by two Bay Area natives (brothers, Leo & Oliver Kremer), who moved to NYC and missed the taquerias they frequented at home. Modeled after the Kremer brothers favorite taqueria (Gordo’s) in Berkeley, CA. The brothers chose every detail, from the custom light fixtures, to the reclaimed wood for the countertops.
