Enviro Timbers was formed at the beginning of 2013 with the vision to help reduce plastic waste in our country and help create employment. We manufacture recycled plastic timber from locally sourced plastic waste. We are located in Merrivale in the KZN Midlands.

We locally source HDPE/LDPE and PP plastic waste and process it into useful recycled plastic furniture and products.

Our recycled plastic pallets contain approximately 700 milk bottles and our recycled plastic garden benches contain approximately 1200 milk bottles.

We manufacture benches, picnic tables and pallets. We are developing new products on an ongoing basis. We manufacture various sizes of recycled plastic planks in various colours that can be used in many of the applications that wood is used for. Plastic timber behaves like wood- workers can shape it using conventional woodworking tools.

Every ton of plastic that is recycled saved 5.7m3 of landfill space, and this meant in 2011 about 1.4 million cubic meters of space was saved – equal to about 40 percent of the capacity of Cape Town Stadium.
