Jefferson Avenue Block Association "TNT" Throop and Tompkins Avenue is located in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant/Stuyvesant Heights neighborhood ,within the central portion in the borough of Brooklyn, New York.

The Associations' mission is to strenghten block and homeowners relationships. Our elected block officials serve as the representatives to address local residents needs and concerns. Along with the Community Board 3, our block association keeps block residents informed monthly on current neighborhood issues, events and activities in the neighborhood.

Our block is the home of the late Bertram L. Baker,
who was elected in 1948 and served as Brooklyn's first
African-American Assemblyman for 22 years.
