Wind Test Site at Quarry Hills
概览
The City of Quincy placed wind data equipment on this communications tower in Quarry Hills through a grant from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC; www.mtpc.org). Data were collected for 18 months. The quality of the wind data was good, and the possibility of placing one or more wind turbines in the area is being explored. Quincy received another grant from the MTC for an in-depth feasibility study by consultants from KEMA (www.KEMA.com). The report is expected to be completed in April or May of this year.
