概览
The proposed Nursery: Center for Sustainable Gardening will replace San Francisco Botanical Garden's rundown, temporary nursery facilities built in the 1960's. A new state-of-the-art building will enable both the Recreation & Park Department and Botanical Garden Society staff and volunteers to further expand plant propagation and growing activities in a safe and improved work environment. It will also give San Francisco residents and students the opportunity to learn about horticulture, the plant world, and the importance of preserving the environment by observing and participating in a working nursery facility.
